Competition rules:

Competitions will be held in accordance with the rules of the sport for persons with mobility impairment, approved in accordance with the Ministry of Sport, Tourism and Youth Policy of the Russian Federation order No. 1195, dated November 9, 2010 , and IAAF international rules, as amended and supplemented at the IPC Athletics Forum. The rules are adapted for IWAS competitions and will stay in force until the official publication of the new IAAF athletics rules.

Participants:

  • Participation in the event is permitted for men and women with mobility impairment who reached the age of 18 years old by the date of October, 5, 2023.

  • Each participant of the Event for participation in competitions in sports carriages must have their own sports wheelchair and helmet.

Classification:

  • Competition will be held in sport wheelchairs and active wheelchairs in the following categories: Ò-33/Ò34, Ò51/Ò52, Ò53/Ò54. 

  • Each participant of the sport wheelchairs competitions must pass sport classification.

  • Participants are permitted to compete only with a valid insurance policy covering accidents, life and health of participants, which will be provided during registration.

First aid will be provided in accordance with the order of the Ministry of Health and Social Development of the Russian Federation of August 9, 2010, No. 613n "On approval of the procedure for the provision of medical assistance during the staging of physical and sports events".
